Fom our blog in Japan and International

Last year, I brought a couple of sumo wrestlers over to Sweden to shoot for an ad for a well known Swedish company. They told me they had great reviews and that their sales went soaring as well. I’m delighted. It’s always great to hear things like this.
This time around, I’m handling the casting and the coordination on location. I’ve worked with them previously, but they’ve been nothing but fantastic.Theyâre at the top of the pyramid for producing commercials in Sweden — it shows how they’re committed to deliver just by seeing how they’ve hired real sumos for their shoot. Not a lot of people do that. And of course we responded to the request by having our top make-up artist and stylist fly out from Japan for this.
You’d assume it’d be quite easy to find someone who’s got the figure of a sumo wrestler abroad, but it really isn’t. Quite a surprise, isn’t it?And so we brought over a real sumo wrestler who wore wigs that were made by a superb company that makes wigs for those casted on the historic shows aired in Japan.A professional has crafted every strand carefully to make it whole. They also use real hair!!
