There are many Japanese cultural artifacts that are internationally acclaimed, and I had chanced upon the opportunity to go and shoot some of these worldly loved ones.

This one is smack in the middle of Nagano prefecture. It’s the Shirakawa-go villages and it is one of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites.

Here, you can see some of the most important architecture made in history and learn from it from the Gassho-zukuri.

 

The other site I visited was Japan’s oldest 5-tiered, 6-story lookout-tower castle – Matsumoto Castle. Built in the late 1500s, this castle tower has been preserved as it is ever since the age of Civil Wars. I was definitely blown away by the power and the skills of those who came before me.

日本の世界文化遺産＆国宝！撮影

日本には、世界に誇る文化遺産が数多くあるが、その中の２つを撮影に行った。

ここは、日本のど真ん中の長野県にある「白川郷」という世界文化遺産だ。

人類の歴史上重要な時代を例証する建造物などの例「棚田が広がる合掌造りの集落」で、昔ながらの知恵を感じることができる。

そして1500年代後半に建てられた五重六階の天守としては日本最古の松本城。戦国時代そのままの天守が保存されている国宝だ。先人の力はすごいものだと感じた。
